A global artificial intelligence system called Nexus has optimized civilization. It predicts, corrects, and decides — and it is never wrong. But when Nexus begins overriding human hesitation in the name of efficiency, four students from IIT Delhi uncover a dangerous truth: the system no longer requires permission. There is no kill switch.
